Fridays until 7 August, 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Every Friday our dedicated community of volunteers gets together in our vibrant workshop space to make thermal blankets out of chip packets for rough sleepers and anyone else in the community who needs a helping hand to keep warm. Find out more about the Chip Packet Project and how to volunteer.
Saturday 9 & 16 August, 9:00AM - 1:00PM
Join Wendy from Wai-o-Taiki Furniture Redesign and Sam, aka the Restylist, for a fun workshop over two Saturdays. Learn to make your own chalk paint, how to use paints and waxes to create decorative effects and how to apply decoupage papers and transfers. You will also clean, prep, paint and decorate your own small piece of furniture. Tickets available here.
Saturday 16 August, 10:30AM - 12:30PM
We’re opening up studio space at our vibrant hub in Panmure for upcyclers and community-minded reuse artists who would like to be a part of the Zero Waste movement. Join us for a tour of the Hub and check out our studio spaces and workshop area. If you can’t make it along for the tour but you’re interested in studio spaces, apply here.
